Jay Vado is one of the leaders of the new wave of R & B soul/pop.Surrounded by music since an early age, his craft has been influenced by a multitude of sounds and personal experiences. Born to a Venezuelan father who was a disc jockey and a Lebanese mother who sang choir, Jay Vado had a lot of soul in his childhood. His ethnicity played a big role in his life discovering his path to stardom.
Jay fell in love with singing and dancing since he can remember. At eleven years old, he started taking guitar classes and working with a vocal coach, and by 13-14 he was already performing at talent shows and writing his own songs. Entertaining was a job he enjoyed doing. He wasn’t just good; he was great at it. His sister, now a choreographer, helped him pave the way for his uncanny ability to impress crowds of many genres.
Jay spent most of his teenage years learning and honing his craft as a musician. At the age of 20, he met Canadian producer Beat Merchant and continued to build a relationship with him. Eventually Beat Merchant took Jay in the studio and introduced him to an incredible vocalist/producer/artist developer by the name of Lynx, who had already worked closely with Canadian R&B sensation Massari. Lynx immediately saw the potential that Jay Vado had and offered his guidance and mentorship to the young entertainer. Initially Jay started working on his vocals and soon after began recording at Swap Studios with Lynx. After a year of hard work in the studio, Jay was ready to start recording his own project, his debut to the world.
Inspired by artists like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Nirvana and Tupac, he describes his music as a new generation of R&B, soul and pop, combining the raw emotion and wild vision of his creative predecessors. His lyrics speak of his past experiences and his trials and tribulations of love and happiness. His creativity is undeniably a force to be reckoned with and will definitely be a major part in the future of music. A true artist, Jay Vado prides on originality versatility and his work will reflect exactly that. His charm, good looks, hard work and charisma have become a trademark for the artist he has become today.

With work from notable producers like Boi 1da (Drake, Lil wayne), Beat Merchant (Belly, ), Lynx (Massari, Danny Fernandes) Fliptones (Wayne, Birdman, Jason Derulo) and Northern Profits among others, his first effort will astound listeners.
